ListenBrainz keeps track of the music you listen to and provides you with insights into your listening habits.Using our visualizations, you can use ListenBrainz to track your music listening habits and share your taste with others.Based on your listening history we recommend music you might like, new music you missed out on from your favorite artists, and what similar users have been listening to.When you use the ListenBrainz Android app, you need to create an account with ListenBrainz, and your listening history will be associated with this account. This data is not kept on the device but is transmitted to the ListenBrainz server. The data collected is used to improve the recommendations and is accessible to other users.

Just invite your friends to your listening session and playback will be synchronized – whether you are miles apart or sitting next to each other. And the best part: your friends don't need to have the app installed themselves because ListenTogether is also available as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and will just be opened in their browser if the app is not available. ListenTogether can play almost any audio file publicly accessible via HTTP or HTTPS by just pasting the URL when adding new audio to the playlist. It has excellent support for podcasts: you don't need the URL of an audio file for a podcast episode because you can search for them inside the app and add episodes directly.

Some galgame players reported that subtitles and dialogue boxes didn't pop up when talking to female characters. This app was developed to address this issue. As a prank app, it currently doesn't integrate AI and can run offline. Currently, a dialogue box pops up when asking a question; more fun features can be added later.

It's a plugin for Muzei, which is an Android live wallpaper app, by Roman Nurik and Ian Lake. Since Reddit changed API access rules we need a Reddit API auth for each user.

LnkShortener is working out of the box. Simply share a link via the share function of your browser or any other app with LnkShortener and it will instantaneously display a shortened URL. If you have a workin Polr installation enable the API and obtain an API-Key. Open the Settings in LnkShortener and enter the address of your Polr server (e.g. https://1n.pm) including the protocol (e.g. https://). Afterwards copy and paste the API-Key to the next field and you're ready to go with your own domain. The App initially running with the 1n.pm URL shortening service. You can register an account for free and keep track of your links and use the analytics functionalities of Polr.

A backend for the µg Project's network location provider that uses local GSM data to resolve user location. See [https://github.com/microg] A facility in the setting menu allows you to create a database using data from [http://opencellid.org OpenCellId] and/or [https://location.services.mozilla.com Mozilla Location Services] CSV files. Alternatively, the on-phone database can be generated in advance via the [https://github.com/n76/lacells-creator lacells-creator] scripts that gather tower information from those two sources, too. You can improve the quality of the data used by this location provider by contributing to either or both of those projects. This backend performs no network data to resolve locations, no queries are made to a centralized AP location provider.

Local IP adds a tile to be used in QuickSettings that displays Local and Public IP Address.

The backend passively monitors the GPS and scans for nearby WiFis and mobile cells/towers. From this a database of emitter locations is created. When UnifiedNlp / microG request a location from Local NLP Backend, a scan for nearby emitter is initiated and a location determined based on the scan results. Local NLP Backend is a fork of the Déjà Vu NLP Backend with some improvements and a crude UI for configuration and importing / exporting data, including cell lists from MLS or OpenCelliD. This backend uses no network data. All data acquired by the phone stays on the phone, though it may be exported manually. How to use: Local NLP Backend can be used like Déjà Vu: just enable the backend and let it build up the database by frequently having GPS enabled, e.g. using a map app. If you have a Déjà Vu database (you'll need root privileged to extract it), it can be imported in Local NLP Backend. Further import options are databases exported by Local NLP Backend, and cell csv files from MLS or OpenCelliD. Note that the local database needs to be filled, either using GPS or by importing data, before Local NLP Backend can provide locations! In order to speed up building the database, LocalNLP has an optional active mode that enabled GPS when there is no known emitter nearby (low setting) or when any unknown emitter is found (aggressive setting). Note that microG has stopped supporting UnifiedNlp backends with 0.2.28. If you still want to use this backend (or others), you need to use older microG versions. This can only be recommended if you use microG for location only. Personally I use 0.2.10, as with later versions location backends stop providing locations after some time.

Local Storage uses the new Storage Access Framework to allow other applications to read or write any file in your primary storage and read from secondary external storage devices (such as SD cards). On Android 5.0+ devices, you can also select entire directories and rename files.Note that this app is not meant to be used by itself (although we do provide some sample queries), but to be used to enable other applications access to files they would normally not be able to see - you shouldn’t ever need to actually open this app!

Note: this project seems to be abandoned. LocalProxy provides local proxy service on the device. This with the main objective of carrying out the authentication process with a proxy server and in this way allow access to the Internet in the installed applications.Initially it is very similar to applications like UCIntlm or UCIProxy, that is, it allows access to the Internet through the proxy server of a certain institution. Its difference lies in the idea that led to its development: it must operate in as many Cuban institutional networks as possible.

LocalSend is an open source app to share files and messages between nearby devices using the local wifi network. The communication between devices is entirely end-to-end encrypted via HTTPS. No Internet required. No tracking*. No ads. Currently, this app is available on Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and Linux. You can find all download options on the official homepage. *The operating system may still gather usage data.

https://f-droid.org/packages/com.google.android.gms backend that uses locally acquired WiFi AP data to resolve user location. This backend consists of two parts sharing a common database. One part passively monitors the GPS. If the GPS has acquired and has a good position accuracy, then the WiFi APs detected by the phone are stored. The other part is the actual location provider which uses the database to estimate location when the GPS is not available or has not yet gotten its first fix. The use of stored WiFi AP can dramatically decrease the GPS time to first fix. This backend performs no network data. All data acquired by the phone stays on the phone and no queries are made to a centralized AP location provider.

Locale Changer is an Android app to change the default system-wide locale. It displays a list of all available locales; clicking on any list item changes the Android system locale to the selected value. Changes are persistent. The currently active locale is always positioned as the first list item.

Locate My Device is an application miming Google's Find My Device – through SMS. It can help you to locate a lost smartphone.How it works? Simply send an SMS to the device you want to locate in order to retrieve information about it. The SMS must consist of the configured activation command, a password and an instruction – e.g. "locate" if you want the coordinates, "battery" for some battery details, "ring" to make it ring – or "lock" to lock it down.

Location Indicator Whitelist is an XPosed / LSPosed module that prevents applications from spamming the annoying location notification dot on Android 12 + LineageOS.Some apps do access the location in background for legitimate reasons, and the user may not want to be interrupted because of that. Some location providers packages aren't whitelisted by ROMs.The "Status bar location indicator" switch in developer options has a lot of drawbacks: it disables all notifications when the user might actually find the notification dot useful, doesn't survive a reboot, meaning that you consistently have to switch it off – and it is buggy: if you disable it at the wrong moment, you may get the notification dot stuck on your screen until you reboot. On LOS20, it seems that it even doesn't prevent the location notification dot from showing at all.So this module allows you to whitelist trusted apps.

The app has support for GPX and KML files, as well as the "geo URI scheme" and popular map services (google-maps, openstreetmap, yandex, ...). It can work offline (without Internet/WiFi) once geodata has been downloaded and cached. Other Android apps can use LocationMapViewer through an Intent-interface. Location Share is a simple Android application that allows you to share your current location. Location Share doesn't require setting up an account, doesn't track your location in the background, doesn't auto-share it, and doesn't send it to anyone except those you explicitly tell it to. It can share your location using any application that supports sharing plain text. This includes (but isn't limited to) sharing via SMS, email, social networks, note taking applications, etc. Simply launch the application and wait until the device homes in on your location. You'll then have the option to view the location on a map, share it, or copy it to the clipboard.
