Privacy Browser
APK
The only way to prevent data from being abused is to prevent it from being collected in the first place. Privacy Browser has two primary goals. 1. Minimize the data that is sent to the internet. 2. Minimize the data that is stored on the device. Most browsers silently give websites massive amounts of information that allows them to track you and compromise your privacy. Websites and ad networks use technologies like JavaScript, cookies, DOM storage, user agents, and many other things to uniquely identify each user and track them between visits and across the web. In contrast, privacy sensitive features are disabled by default in Privacy Browser. If one of these technologies is required for a website to function correctly, the user may choose to turn it on for just that visit. Or, they can use domain settings to automatically turn on certain features when entering a specific website and turn them off again when leaving. Privacy Browser currently uses Android’s built-in WebView to render web pages. As such, it works best when the latest version of WebView is installed (see https://www.stoutner.com/privacy-browser/common-settings/webview/). In the 4.x series, Privacy Browser will switch to a forked version of Android’s WebView called Privacy WebView that will allow for advanced privacy features. Features: • Integrated EasyList ad blocking. • Tor Orbot proxy support. • SSL certificate pinning. • Import/export of settings and bookmarks.

Privacy Cell
APK
Privacy Cell is a small app that displays the cell phone protocol information. At the time of this writing, many cell phone networks are switching from 4G (4th Generation) to 5G networks. The 5G network protocols were specifically designed to protect against some of the known insecurities of the older protocols, including those that allowed stingrays (IMSI catchers) to perform man-in-the-middle attacks on cell phone networks. To ease deployment and backwards compatibility, 4G and 5G networks can run together in what is known as 5G NR (New Radio) NSA (Non-Standalone) mode. This uses the 4G network for the control channel and the 5G network for the data communication. However, 5G NR NSA does not provide protection against stingrays. Android has access to all the information it needs to know if it is connected to a 5G NR NSA or a 5G NR SA (Standalone) network, but it doesn’t display that information to the user. The purpose of Privacy Cell is to make that information easy to access. Privacy Cell can also warn you when you are connected to antiquated 2G and 3G networks.

Privacy Guides Verified Apps
APK
Verified Apps is an app signing certificate hash viewer and verifier. It checks your installed apps (or any APK file) against a built-in database of known-good app signing fingerprints.IMPORTANT: We maintain and release this app and our dataset in good faith and on a best-effort basis. We are not committing to perfect security, immediate bug fixes, or comprehensive app coverage in our dataset. As always with security tools like this, you must consider your own threat model and plan accordingly. We cannot advise you personally on the appropriate security measures for your specific situation. Your use of this app is at your own risk, and you may not hold any contributors liable for any adverse events which may occur.README: https://github.com/privacyguides/verified-apps-android/blob/main/README.mdMAINTAINER: https://www.privacyguides.org/You can share or copy verification info for use outside the app. If an app is not in the database, you'll have the option to open a pre-filled GitHub submission issue in your browser. What is this? This is a fork of AppVerifier (https://github.com/soupslurpr/AppVerifier), but many components have been removed, so it no longer serves the same purpose. Notably, it no longer includes peer-to-peer verification via clipboard sharing. This app only checks apps against our crowdsourced database.App verifications & reliabilityPlease note that mismatch results may not always indicate an illegitimate app. For example, if we only have the F-Droid version of an app in our database, and you downloaded the app from Google Play where Google signed it with their own certificate, then your app would not match our database and will be flagged. When you find a mismatch, we always recommend submitting that app information to our issue tracker, you will be prompted to do so within the app. We will work to verify the legitimacy of your submission. If the app you have is indeed legitimate, we will include it in the next app release. If the app you have is illegitimate, we will inform you in the submitted issue. What this app is good forContributing to Privacy Guides' crowdsourced database (https://github.com/privacyguides/verified-apps/) of developer signing certificates. If an app on your device is listed as unknown or a mismatch in this app, you will be shown a button to make a submission to our issue tracker, and it will automatically fill out the submission form to make the process as easy as possible for you. You will still need an account with our issue tracker to make a submission.Comparing your installed apps to Privacy Guides' database without needing to trust any additional parties/developers.We include our entire database locally in this app, which is built and signed by us. We therefore control the entire pipeline end-to-end, and once downloaded your local data can never be modified without updating the app to a new build. What this app is not good forComparing your apps to anyone's hashes besides our crowdsourced database. We've removed all clipboard/user-based verification tools, as many other apps already provide this functionality well, and we do not want to maintain parallel features unnecessarily.

Privamatic
APK
Privamatic audits your Android device and gives you a clear 0-100 privacy score based on your actual settings — not guesswork. Whether you're just starting to take privacy seriously or you're already running GrapheneOS, Privamatic shows you exactly what's exposing your data and how to fix it, step by step. 45+ automated checks cover system security (screen lock, encryption, USB debugging, biometrics, security patch date), network privacy (VPN, Private DNS, Wi-Fi scanning), surveillance apps (Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, AI assistants), and default apps (browser, keyboard, launcher, email). Correctly handles de-Googled setups — microG is detected and not penalised, GrapheneOS sandboxed Play is recognised, and checks that don't apply to your setup are automatically skipped. Trusted Apps — whitelist FOSS apps that legitimately use accessibility, notification, or location permissions. Toggle an app as trusted and its score penalty is removed instantly. You decide what you trust. Quick Wins surface the easiest improvements first — each one includes plain-English instructions and a direct link to the relevant Settings page. Manual Checks remind you to periodically review location permissions, camera and microphone access, and unused apps — the things that can't be checked automatically. A home screen widget keeps your privacy score visible at a glance, with Material You theming that adapts to your wallpaper. Fully offline — no network requests, no analytics, no accounts, no cloud sync. All data stays on your device.

ProcrastiLearn
APK
ProcrastiLearn turns mindless app-opening into vocabulary practice. Choose which apps you tend to open out of habit — social media, browsers, games — and whenever you launch one, a full-screen flashcard overlay appears. Reveal the translation, rate how well you remembered it, and the app you wanted opens immediately. No subscription, no ads, no accounts. HOW IT WORKS Pick the apps you want to gate in the Apps tab. From that point on, opening any of those apps shows a flashcard first. You rate your answer (Again / Hard / Good / Easy) and the FSRS spaced-repetition algorithm schedules the next review automatically. Daily caps prevent you from being overwhelmed. If you tend to lose track of time once you're inside a gated app, the optional recurring reminder has you covered: set an interval (e.g. every 10 minutes) and the overlay reappears as long as you stay in that app, turning each lingering session into extra review reps. VOCABULARY Add words manually or use the optional AI translation feature: paste a word, tap Generate, and the app drafts a translation using OpenAI. The AI prompt is fully editable so you can control tone, context, or target language. You can also import existing Anki decks (.apkg files) to get started immediately with a vocabulary set you already trust. LANGUAGE SUPPORT The app currently works best with English-Russian vocabulary (that pair is the default in the AI prompt), but any language pair works — just edit the prompt in Settings to match your target language. Support for additional language pairs with dedicated UI will be added in future releases, especially based on user requests in github issues or via email. PRIVACY All data — vocabulary, blocked apps list, review history, and settings — is stored entirely on your device. There are no analytics, no crash reporters, and no advertising SDKs. The only outbound network traffic is the optional OpenAI API call you initiate by tapping Generate, using your own API key entered in Settings. PERMISSIONS Accessibility Service: used solely to detect which app is currently in the foreground so ProcrastiLearn knows when to show the overlay. The service does not read screen content, keystrokes, or any other input. Display Over Other Apps: required to draw the flashcard overlay on top of the gated app. OPEN SOURCE ProcrastiLearn is free and open-source software (Apache 2.0 license). Source code and issue tracker are on GitHub.
