A Bluetooth remote control app for Sony Alpha cameras that is immediately available in your phone's notification area as soon as you turn on your camera. This app is free and open source. The app uses Android's companion app feature, meaning that it does not actively scan for your camera, but is only started by Android when the camera has been seen by the system - and the app's service is shut down as soon as it is turned off again. The remote control buttons are there when you need them, but no resources or screenspace are used otherwise. Acastus-Photon translates name of street/city/point-of-interest to geo-coordinate which can be opened in a map or navigation app such as OsmAnd, Maps.me, APhotoManager. shared with other people via the send command. You can start Acastus by clicking on an addresss in the Android Contacts app (SimpleContatcs). The Photon-Server-Software which Acastus-Photon calls over the internet is a replacement for Google Maps and other geocoding services that you can run on your own server. TeXeTeScribe provides what default Android lacks: read and edit text-based files. It also implements concept of a folder with a notebook functionality. 📖 You data is always readable. If a platform can display characters, it can handle a TXT file: Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, macOS, ChromeOS, Smart TVs, e-readers, gaming consoles, embedded and IoT devices, cloud storage and collaboration tools (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, etc). TXT files are the most universal format because every operating system "understands" them. Text files avoid compatibility issues of proprietary formats, ensuring flawless transfer across devices and platforms. 🛡 Future proof your content. Text files are universal and future-proof, free from the compatibility problems that plague proprietary note formats. You don't need a specific app to access TXT file. It can be viewed and edited on basically everything with a processor. 🔓 Notes in TXT files never get trapped. Most note-taking apps store data inside private app databases or proprietary cloud formats. Parenting can be tough. You get home from the hospital, exhausted, with this little fragile unknown thingy that has no user manual and a single way to let you know something's not ok: crying. You have to react fast, even if it's 4 AM and you have no idea of the reason behind the cries. This app is meant to log all the relevant events (diaper change, breastfeeding, baby bottle feeding, etc.), so you can always remember what was done last time and when. It supports syncing the data between different devices (using your WebDAV server for the best privacy) so that when the baby needs attention, the dad can step in, leaving the mom sleeping peacefully.
